Its an understatement to say the Internet is big. Its impossible even to accurately describe its reach as for every few Web sites that die every day, several more crop up. Competition can be fierce among sites publishing similar information, and more so among sites selling similar products. This applies to job seekers as well. Whether its a profile on LinkedIn, a Twitter account, or an individual Web site, millions of people are using the Internet to find jobs. Yes, it’s partly down to the fact I’m nosy, but I’ve always wondered what’s like being the other side of the desk at a job interview; I’m fascinated to see how people perform while they’re being grilled under pressure.

Twitter Twitter Talk
Everyday on Twitter we all seem to pick up a few new people who follow us. And if we follow some on our own, a few may follow us back.
Some find you via a website, Facebook page, LinkedIn profile or business card. Others do it by actively checking their stream, watching who their friends are re-tweeting or via a Twitter chat.
Ive written before about why people follow on Twitter. And the primary reason (assuming you are not Ashton Kutcher or Kobe Bryant) is relevance. Something in your bio leads people to believe that you have a virtual kinship. Like cats, marketing, social media or rocket science.
